Division 10 (Society for Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts) brings together a vibrant community of researchers and practitioners from across psychology and related fields who share an interest in exploring creative processes, artistic expression, and aesthetic valuations.
As a smaller division, we offer opportunities for leadership and professional growth for all members.
For professional and associate members, we provide networking connections with colleagues sharing similar interests across arts and creativity research.
For students, we offer chances to meet established scholars in the field and build relationships with peers. Students can participate in all division committees and serve on the Executive Board.
The division also sponsors a grant for students and early career researchers and gives annual awards for outstanding contributions.

Student Affiliate
Undergraduate and graduate students in related degree programs.
Membership dues: $23.00
Professional Affiliate
Researchers and professionals interested in the psychology of aesthetics, creativity, and the arts that are not APA members.
Membership Dues: $32.00
APA Member / Fellow*
APA members and Fellows interested in the psychology of aesthetics, creativity, and the arts.
Membership dues: $32.00
International Affiliate
International researchers and professionals in psychology of aesthetics, creativity, and the arts.
Membership dues: $32.00
All members are eligible to serve on Division 10 committees.
*If you are an APA Dues Exempt (Life Status) member, you are not required to pay annual dues to remain an active member of the division. However, you must pay a $23 publication fee if you wish to continue receiving the journal. You do not need to be a member of the larger APA (American Psychological Association) to join Division 10.
When you join, if you are also an APA Member, select APA Member.
If you are not an APA Member, select Professional, International, or Student Affiliate.
Division 10 membership is effective January 1 through December 31. If you join between September 1 and December 31, you will enjoy membership through the next calendar year.
