How to Join & Use the Div 10 Listserv

The Div 10 Listserv is a free email list for APA Division 10 (Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts) members. It’s a way to stay connected with other members, share news, and participate in discussions about the field.

How do I join?

  1. Go to:
    https://lists.apa.org/cgi-bin/wa.exe?
    SUBED1=DIV10&A=1

  2. Fill in:

    • List Name:
      DIVIO Division 10 Members list

    • Your Name

    • Your Email Address

    • Choose how you want to receive emails:

      • Regular:
        Get each message as it’s sent

      • Digest:
        Get multiple messages bundled together

  3. Click “Subscribe”

  4. Check your email for a confirmation from listserv@lists.apa.org.
    It may take a few minutes to arrive. Click the link to confirm your subscription.

  5. Wait for approval from the list administrator.

NOTE: The confirmation email may go to your spam folder, check there if you don't see it.

How do I post to the listserv?

Just send an email to: DIV10@LISTS.APA.ORG

Put “[DIV10]” at the beginning of your email subject line. Then, write your message like a normal email and send it. Everyone subscribed to the list will receive your message.

How do I reply to someone’s post?

When you receive a message from the listserv, just hit reply. Your response will go to the entire list, so everyone can see the discussion.

Want to reply privately instead? Change the “To:” field to that person’s individual email address instead of the list address.
